!Saturday night 27th October was the opening of the Southern Ocean Art Prize at Robe. It runs for 9 days, and is really worth a look. Works are diverse and include sculpture, painting and drawing, as well as photography. I loved Kurt Florimond’s hanging leadlight spirals. At the end of the show, votes are added up for the winner of the People’s Choice award. This year’s outright winner announced Saturday night was Jamie Prosser with her painting “The Red Shed”.
